Settings
Day & dusk
The sky the whole house hangs on. Auto follows your clock.
Toolbar placement
The shelf's orientation — where the toolbar lives: along the bottom, along the top, or stashed as a slim rail on the side. Toasts dock opposite it (§68). The squares always clear it.
Motion
Springs, drifting clouds and the zoom launch.
Tones
The master switch for every little sound the house makes — taps, saves, rulings, the doorbell. Off means off. Nothing ever plays itself — a tone starts with your tap.
Home ambience
A quiet room tone for this home — slow chords, off anytime, right here.
Ambience bed
Four rooms, one house key — Meadow is the original. The tour calls it the back-home feeling.
Weather in the world
The shell wears the sky over Hermosa Beach. Override it here when you want a different day.
Weather from
Live weather reads the sky over Hermosa Beach, the house base. This device asks your browser where it is — coarse, only when you allow it, and the row says so if it can't.
Register
Pleasant is the living house. Pleasant-Tide is the same house in a suit — static, quiet, normal on purpose, for business eyes. Same squares, same numbers, same order.
Tenant theme
Pleasant-Tide's brand dress — accent, surface tint, and where the mark sits. Themes are data, not code: a tenant's brand arrives as tokens and switches without a build.
Home layout
Drawer direction
The home's orientation: across pages the squares sideways, as today. Down stacks them in a drawer that scrolls — a rail for a long roster. Both registers wear the same choice.
Square groups
Grouped files the squares under their kinds — House, Work, Media, Play, Tools. Flat keeps one mixed roster. Both registers wear the same choice.
Simple home
Simple turns the smart layer off: plain icons, a search field up top, no treats pushed at you. Same squares, same numbers, same order — presented plainly, in either register.
Top row
The first three squares are the system's picks, re-chosen as your house changes. Only mine means the system picks nothing — the row is your squares from the front, and Desk and the Daily Note stay put either way.
Configuration
How this house is yours: presentation (register, theme, motion, pointer) lives on this device. Your pins, your top-row consent and Simple live here too today — when accounts arrive in this shell they travel with your account, and this row will say so then. A tenant's admin sets brand and which squares are offered; your arrangement of them is yours alone.
Top messages
A quiet strip above the squares for house messages — decisions waiting, mostly. Off means no strip, ever.
Welcome tour
A short walk around the house, learned by touching. It never starts itself.
Sound level
Soft quiets the house: tones lower, hovers and whooshes rest.
Pointer hand
The glove that follows your mouse. Touch screens tap instead.
Wiggle to find
Lost the hand? Shake the mouse back and forth — it grows and leaves a short trail until you spot it. Calm motion keeps the growth and drops the trail.
Pair & control
Controller
No controller yet. To pair: put the pad in pairing mode (hold its pair button), connect it in this device's Bluetooth settings, then press any button — it walks this house: pad moves, A chooses, B comes back, the Guide button opens the quick overlay, Start pauses the world.
Quick overlay
The console overlay — quick settings first, then the doors. Open it with the controller's Guide button (the glowing middle one), or hold both bumpers together if your system keeps that button for itself. Without a pad: this button, the Guide button on the home, or the G key. P — or Start on the pad — pauses the world's motion; press again and everything resumes where it left off.
Phone as remote
Not built yet — honestly. The remote channel (your phone driving this screen, the same pairing the breakable-UI game will use) is a named build, not a chip that lies. What exists today: this same shell on your phone, signed in the same way.
Not built
Voice control
Partial, and labeled so: on devices whose browser offers speech recognition, voice can advance the tour and pick a search result. The house's full voice driving lives in the native app. This switch arms the in-shell listener where one exists.
Pleasant by 29Court — built from Tide.
